Yonderland and Brightest: a partnership that grows with ambition

Yonderland operates in an environment where digital growth and integration are key. To support that growth with quality, the company decided to focus on structured quality assurance and test automation. To do so, they looked for an experienced partner and found one in Brightest.

“Our former development manager was already familiar with Brightest,” says Kristof Haaren, QA team lead at Yonderland. “That previous positive experience made it easy to work with them again.”

What followed was a collaboration that not only has a strong technical foundation but also works well on a cultural level.

A structured approach to test automation

The collaboration stemmed from a clear strategic decision. “With a growing number of projects and integrations, we decided to invest in test automation,” Kristof explains. “We were looking for a partner who could not only provide additional test capacity but also had the necessary expertise to back this with strategic insight

Brightest helped Yonderland identify its needs and brought the right profiles on board. “The consultants working with us are truly part of the team. They are highly skilled professionals and perfectly integrated into our company culture. We challenge them to think along with us and they do so in a solution-oriented and engaged way.”

Beyond the content of the work, Yonderland also values the way the collaboration operates. “Communication with Brightest is smooth and free from unnecessary formalities. We speak when needed, and that works very efficiently for us.”

“We expect our partners to challenge us and think along. Brightest’s consultants do exactly that."

Thinking in solutions

At Yonderland, they believe QA is more than just testing. “We expect our partners to challenge us and think along,” says Kristof. “Brightest’s consultants do exactly that. They are involved in building a strong and scalable test framework and actively take responsibility in that process. For example, they ensure test automation for a recently integrated warehouse management system and maintain the quality of current in-house tooling through regression testing. New automation initiatives are also being launched for upcoming integrations.”

Kristof closes with an important insight: “There may not be a single golden tip, but what definitely helps is involving QA engineers early in every project. It’s also essential to clearly map out the scope of your automation framework. That really makes a long-term difference.”
